What happens if I stop paying?

Wisp Free

You never were paying. It works forever, offline, no account.

Wisp Pro

There is nothing to stop paying. It is a one-time purchase, and the licence key is verified on your machine, against no server. If we vanished tomorrow, your copy keeps working.

Wisp Subscription (when it exists)

The app drops back to Free, or to Wisp Pro if you own it. Your files are plain Markdown on your disk either way, so nothing you wrote is ever inside anything you rent.

The short honest answers

Does the $49 include AI?

It includes every AI feature, running on your own key or your own local models. It does not include hosted AI, because none is needed: a free OpenRouter key or a local Ollama install plugs straight in.

How is the licence enforced?

An offline signed key with your email in it. No activation server, no seat limit, no phoning home. We sell to people who like owning things, so we built it the way we'd want to buy it.

What about refunds?

No questions asked within 14 days. See the refund policy.

Who processes the payment?

Paddle, as merchant of record. They handle cards, VAT, and receipts; we never see your card details.

What platforms?

Windows today. The app is built on a cross-platform core, so macOS and Linux are a matter of demand, not architecture.
